I've got Clark here. He's got a history with feisty redheads, considering his high school sweetheart was one! Now he's only a few months away from becoming Earth's mightiest hero and kinda-sorta traveling with the Doctor for a little bit, so we should definitely figure something out.  |

Clark & Amy:Oh I think Amy will like him, maybe even a little to much (uh-oh look out Rory)!  This should be tons of fun, perhaps we could do the damsel in distress type of thing with them? Amy loves getting into trouble and when her quick thinking fails her or The Doctor isn't there things can go wrong. |

I don't know about you, but I think it'll be thrilling for Amy to meet another incarnation of the Doctor, especially who has classier fashion sense and certainly does not have a bowtie. Plus unlike the Eleventh, the Eighth is a romantic and much more 'human' fellow, so he'd pretty much understand Amy as he's less alien than her Doctor. Also, very much like the First and Eleventh Doctors, he repeats the names of his companions when he's trying to prove their point and all. So, Amy would get that vibe that he's still the same ol' Doctor she knows. One more fun fact: I think Amy would dig the fact that this Doctor is a younger incarnation, despite this body claiming that he's 1,453 years old. So it'd be intriguing for her to meet him at least.
From the Doctor's point of view, I think Amy would probably remind him of a Grace Halloway, who is coincidentally ginger and is quite independent in her own right. As long as Amy doesn't slip up on spoilers, which this Doctor apparently loves to tell others subtlely, then they'd get along brilliantly quite well. Plus, his TARDIS is really, really cozy!

These two would be great together, I think Amy would be fascinated by a previous incarnation of the Doctor. And like you said I think she would appreciate a more human like Doctor. Did you have any specific ideas or should we just see where it goes?

Actually, I was hoping that we could just see where it goes. Things are better with Amy when no one has an idea of what's going to happen. So we'll just wing it. I'm afraid I've got stuff on my plate though, so starting up a thread wouldn't really be possible for me now. But if you've got a lot of free time and all, I'm pretty much game for it!  |

Oh I just had the maddest idea! It involves Amy, the 11th and two TARDISes crashing into each other in the open thread with Amy and the Doctor! What do you think? I'm still asking 11 about it, but if you're game then we'd just wait for 11's approval and it is ON! |
