Why hello there, my name is Aludra. I'm not exactly what I appear to be, not just some pretty face with untamed hair, no that is definitely not all. I'm actually a Celestial Being, a star to be precise...although I'm not looking so star like these days.

Don't let that fool you, I probably still know more than you. Hehe, two billion years is a long time to learn about things. And yes, I do know a thing or two about a thing or two.

Still being on Gallifrey is a bit taxing, considering I know about it's history, but I don't know much about being one of them. I used to have my own solar system, you know, but it's completely different having limbs and hair. Not at all like keeping things in constant rotation. Might be nice to have some friends to show me the ropes, show me around town...maybe wine and dine me some?

You should see me out on the nightlife--boy do I shine. During the day I am something like a pencil-pusher for the big-bad Gallifreyans. Just doing what needs done, being friendly and the like. Outside of work, though. I'm just a wild and crazy youth, with my own glow sticks. Or something. Isn't that what they're called?

I don't know about you if you have plans or anything, but I think Aludra would be a brilliant companion of some sorts to the Eighth. She'd be like his Romana 3.0, but a living, breathing celestial body. He's currently in a Time War though, so he'd have to drop her off somewhere safe when the going gets tough and all. I don't know. What do you think? Taylor Swift and Paul McGann in a TARDIS? It's going to be a fairytale!

Well, I have to be honest, I'm not completely sure I'd want to have the title of companion exactly, but traveling buddies, might work out fine. =) As for the traveling in question, Aludra is on Gallifrey, currently, but if you stopped by to pick her up before going on your way, I definitely wouldn't have a problem with some adventures between the two. Especially considering her severe hatred of Daleks!
