Well, wasn't this turning into quite the time lord reunion? At least, Jack thought they were all time lords. The girl in the crash-landed wardrobe was absolutely stunning and Jack had been more than ready to go and help her-because after all, who was he to pass up the chance to be someone's knight in shining armor?-and he smirked, pausing only to turn to The Doctor to comment, but everyone's attention seemed to be turning elsewhere and he found his attention drawn in the same direction, eyebrows raising when he saw the woman coming toward them. Who would have thought that Gallifrey was full of such beautiful people, though if The Doctor was anything to judge by, he shouldn't have been surprised.
"How am I supposed to keep it in my pants when I'm surrounded by all these gorgeous people, Doctor?" he asked so that only The Doctor and maybe the couple of people standing closest could hear.
He watched as introductions were made, first by The Monk, whom The Doctor seemed to know nearly as well as Romana, and even sounded as though they'd grown up together or something. He slipped off, over to the Wardrobe TARDIS since the lady had yet to be helped out and offered her a hand as The Doctor introduced himself, checking that the lady was alright and giving her a once-over before making his way to where all the action was again, not one to miss out, no matter the number of beautiful women around. "Captain Jack Harkness of the Boeshane Peninsula," he introduced after Akira had spoken. "Nothing as impressive as these Time Lords, but undoubtedly the first human on Gallifrey in years, and what an honor, I must say, though I'm sure this planet has seen better days. I wish I could have seen it then," he said, giving a little bow as well, rather than his normal handshake.
It was a little unsettling for him, being the odd one out here. He was always the odd one out, he supposed, but usually it was in his favor, making it easy for him to take charge, what he seemed to do best, but here, surrounded by time lords, he was the new kid in town, his knowledge much less than any of theirs, and it made him feel a little insignificant, though no less confident with his unshakeable ego, and he flashed the beautiful woman a smile, even winking as he stood to his full height again.

Romana took the Doctor's comment about being rude to Jack on the chin. She couldn't help it. The man felt off to her, in so many ways he felt wrong and abnormal. She would tolerate him for the sake of him being here but other than that, there was something about him that felt like a rather annoying itch. You wanted to scratch or bat it away but you just couldn't do anything about it. She only said rather formally, “I will try not to be.” She paused a moment and then added, “Rude that is. But…..it’s complicated.” She offered Jack her hand in a formal perfunctory shake.
The Doctor reminded her that anything of the near perfect home they had come from had obviously been obliterated. Romana snorted, “But there will be ruins and ruins can be sifted through and…..I don’t mind getting my hands dirty. Anything to confirm that this is indeed home, or perhaps even a duplicate. I did have a habit of creating a few mirror images of Gallifrey, what you might consider a “mirage” of sorts as a way to trap Daleks.” Romana smiled softly, “Course they finally figured it out eventually that it wasn’t real, but it worked for a little while. Anyway…..someone has to be grounded in the fact that this is and isn’t what it seems. I’ve played too many games on Daleks when I was president of Gallifrey not to be deceived by a planet that looks like home, smells like home, but may not be.”
She sighed and let the Doctor go from person to person introducing himself to the other Time Lords and to the strange woman, who insisted that they move their TARDIS, was she serious? She looked at the airy type woman and realized she was. “Case in point that if this is our home…..then we really ought to be able to land where we wish. There is no transduction barrier anymore that limits where we go or where we stay. As it is…..who are you to tell a group of assembled Time Lords and Gallifreyans where we can land or were we can go? Surely, as all of us Time Lords are refugees scattered from a world that we believed was destroyed, we have a legitimate right to claim this world only on the basis that all of this world is genetically the same to the home we thought was lost in time from us. If you insist on all of us to park elsewhere, you will have to give a reason as to why, a why that is so much more important than the one you just gave. Otherwise I don’t believe any of us would willingly follow such a request. “
Romana had had her say and she kept looking at all the Time Lords assembled and then, Her eyes suddenly brightened at a memory, "Now I remember......you Akira. I am sorry; they always say that the first sign of a Time Lord getting old is poor memory. It was a long time ago and I was under a good deal of stress. I apologize for sending you on such a horrible suicide mission at the time, and with the Master no less. But war makes good people do things they wouldn’t normally."
Romana then saw a rather awkward Cypher end up basically crash land on the planet and she ran over to help the woman and then she hugged her "At last.....you've come home....well what's left of the place at any rate. I've been worried about you, I lost track of you since we first met. I had meant to keep an eye on you but I lost track of you. I am not letting you out of my sight….at least not at this moment in time.” So Romana had a good deal of compassion for the woman, but Romana had felt as if the woman was like a younger loomed sister to her or even perhaps a mother tending to a daughter and if Romana had anything to say about it, she would keep the young time-tot safe from harm. “But at least you’re here and that’s all that matters.”
(Ooc: Sorry if I've missed anyone in the post, but trying to keep it nice and short and being inclusive of most people even if I refered to your character slightly "En masse" and still ended up being at least 700 words. o0)
