I have a character put away where I based him off a Selkie and gave him a lion form. It was very successful, I just don't have anywhere to play him really.

dats pretty cool. As I recall a Selkie was a woman whom had the pelt of a seal and could turn into said seal by putting it on. If you stole the pelt it would become your servant. Am I correct?

Yes well not servant, but powerless mostly. And they were said to be both male and female but the females were caught the most. But yes their power was all in their pelt and if they didn't have it then they were powerless.

kinda. I was thinking of combining a kitsune with the pelt thing minus shapeshifting. with a slight man eating attribute. if that makes sence.
