Romana listened quietly to Cypher as she mentioned scientists and white coats. She frowned a bit. Something bugged her about those descriptions, something that tickled and nagged at Romana's memory. But it was like her mind was getting thick. She scratched her head a bit wishing she could remember something as Cypher described. "Bah...." She muttered, "I am getting old. I'll have to ask K9 about it sometime."
Romana shrugged, "I have no idea whether it's good or bad. For all it's a possibility that you're a....." She bit her lip a bit, "Never mind." Romana did not want to entertain the possibility that Cypher might be a clone, a duplicate. It might discourage the Time Tot and at this moment, personality and memory were a delicate thing with a child. "Don't worry about it. I'll do the worrying for both of us."
Romana smiled at Cypher's question on what made a proper Time Lady and Romana, "Well back when I was a young thing like you, I thought it was study. Lots and lots of study. After all I wanted to be the best and the brightest. But....." Romana sighed, "I sort of changed my mind when I got older. It's not so much the study and being clever, because most Time Lords and ladies are, but it's about doing the most good for those around you. Being a champion to those who can't speak or fight back, that's what makes a good and proper Time Lord or Lady, at least now that I think about it."
Romana went over to Cypher, "But you should rest. You look like you're ready to pass out. After you sleep, we should get something for you to wear and something to eat, it's important to eat right after a regeneration too."

Cypher finally succumbed as the singing seemed to become even more insistent, and Romana's voice seemed to lull her into a deep sleep. Her mind fully sealing itself up, memories of her last life being boxed up and placed in a place that would never hinder her mind again. The human woman Magdalene Remington was no more, but Cypher was on her second life, innocent, and for all intents and purposes a child. Her mind allowed her to firmly remember all the details since she woke up, it began building the persona and putting away the former personality permently. Cypher physically didn't know how she had slept but mentally and physically, when she awoke, she felt herself lowering on the ground. She had been in the Zero room approximately thirteen hours, fourty-seven minutes, and seventeen seconds. She had a strange look on her face as she thought about it. "Amazing," she muttered, she didn't remember having such a good record of time before, but she didn't remember anything of before. Cypher did however, she felt wonderful. Once on the ground, she stood up and began to head towards the door, Romana wasn't here. She would look for her, perhaps she was in the console room or getting something to eat. ThereThere was really no telling where the nice woman could be. As Cypher looked down at herself, she let out a disgusted sound. No, no this couldn't do! She needed clothes that was more her. As she exited the zero room, she began to wander and wasn't quite sure how she got here but she found herself in a large room where the scaffold led towards the largest closet she had ever seen in her entire life. There were twin spiraling stairs that looked like dna and clones lined up around it. However, it was then she took notice a pair of clothes hanging up by the door, it was a t-shirt, jeans, a black sweater, and a pair of hotpink hightops. Cypher was rather quick to strip herself down to her bra and knickers. She slipped on the clothes set out for her and towards a mirror. She felt comfortable, she wondered who had set asidethe most comfortable clothes for her. Oh Romana, she needed to find her. Her former clothes were forgotten and seemed to have disappeared as Cypher tore off down the hall. "Romana! Romana! Where are you?!" She called out to the Time Lady.

A mechanical dog came into the hallway and paused where Cypher was. "Mistress Romana sent me to tell you she went out to get something for you to eat."
***
About twenty minutes later, Romana returned with a bag with chips and milkshakes. She smiled softly, "I have no idea what you like so I got you something from the human side of cuisine. One of my friends loved to dip his chips into his milkshake. I've heard that a lot of adolsecent humans like to do the same, I sort of figured that maybe you might like doing that as well."
Romana opened the bag full of food and handed Cypher a container filled with chips and a cup filled with milkshake. "It's vanilla. I figured that it would be easy on your stomach."
Romana looked at K9 and said calmly, "If he hasn't introduced himself, that's my dog. His name is K9. I went to my TARDIS and asked him to help out."
"So....do you want to find someplace where we can sit down, have something to eat and talk about....I don't know you and what you plan to do next. Because I don't want to leave you without the proverbial boat without a paddle."

Cypher managed to stop herself from running into the mechanical dog. It was--brilliant, whoever had made him had to be a genius. "Oh okay, " She said to the tin dog, obvious awe written all over her face.
Once they had located Romana, Cypher still had an awed expression all over her face. Cypher took the container that was given and took a sip. A look of bliss overtook her face and she smiled. "It's wonderful!" She said, enjoying the new taste.
Once Romana started talking and said, "K9? He's brilliant. Did you make him?" Though maybe he made herself, something told her K9 was made by Time Lord hands, but she wasn't quite whose.
"Oh." Cypher said and felt images filled her brain, unsure of the sources though. She didn't know it was TARDIS itself. "Well, I think down the coordior there is a kitchen with a table and chairs there. Um, does K9 need anything to use as a source of fuel?" Cypher asked, quite curious about the tin dog.
Cypher led the way, hoping for a conversation until they hit the kitchen and inside was plainly decorated. It was almost spartan one could say. "Do you think I could travel around in this ship? I could do that right?" She inquired.

Romana smiled as Cypher sipped at the Vanilla shake and stated that it was good. Romana for all her travels didn't know that much about gastronomic accomplishments at least for humans or basically what tasted good for them, of course she did know that Jelly Babies did taste good but other than that not too much of a clue
Cypher commented about K9 and she said quietly, "I've updated his programming occasionally but no, I didn't create him. He was made by a friend of mine and was given to me as a companion of sorts to keep me company."
Finding the kitchen and it's rather spartan appearance, Romana made a bit of a face and then did a quick inspection. She opened the cupboards to make sure their was a supply of food and sure enough their was some food in the cupboard. Romana made an inspection of the labels and food wondering where it came from. None of it seemed Gallifreyan but seemed to be collected from all parts of the universe. The contents of the kitchen gave little to no hint where Cypher had come from. But Romana had some random ideas or possible theories to where she might have been from and yet Romana didn't want to rely too heavily on them because it might not be the case. Romana sat down in a seat at a kitchen table and took a sip of a strawberry milkshake. "I've been thinking a lot about what you said earlier about scientists in white coats and what little you know." Romana sighed, "I don't have anything concrete to tell you and anything I could tell you would border on speculation and theories and I don't want to get you all worked up on things that might not even be true."
Romana ate a few chips and then said calmly, "Have you given much thought about what you're going to do after this? You're terribly young to have a TARDIS and to be traveling on your own. If our home still existed, I would take you home and at least have you stay at home for at least for a little while at least till...you get to be a bit more knowledgeable about time travel and at least have some of the basics down. But that's well a bit impossible now. And I doubt I can convince you to leave your machine here for awhile and travel with me. But I think you should know a few things to at least keep yourself safe and out of danger, otherwise I would never forgive myself if something bad happens to you and I am not around to help you or give you support."
Romana looked at K9 and said, "K9 can you display those images I uploaded into you earlier."
"Affirmative Mistress."
K9 displayed an image of a creature that looked a bit like a tin can and a strange looking stock from it's top.
Romana said calmly, "This is a Dalek, they are our enemies., Cypher. They will never rest till any and all of our race are dead and extinct. They are part of the reason as to why we don't have a home anymore. You must try to avoid them at all costs if you can. They can and will kill us, and their is little to no chance of surviving a confrontation with a Dalek. If you're lucky and you're broadsided by their weapon you might survive but a direct hit and your existence might as well be over. So you need to be careful."
