"Well, alright, but only just up the road a bit, yeah?"
Akira smiled and nodded as Rory walked into the TARDIS. "yup. Just up the road." he giggled lightly and started flipping switches and turning dials. "Cmon Beast just up the road. That's all I ask." he spoke to the center column and looked at the screens. There on the screen was the little curry shop Rory had mentioned. He prayed to that Beast would do what he said this time and just go up the road.
As the TARDIS began to move he grabbed hold of the center column. Akira's eyes fixated on the screen. He frowned slightly at what he saw. He was not amused at all. Beast had done it again. Taking him somewhere he didn't want to go. It must have tracked onto someones ship or distress signal. No no no no, he thought to himself. He glanced over at Rory hoping he couldn't read his face. He didn't want to disappoint his new friend. For only going a few blocks up the road. He sure messed up.
"No no no. I'm sorry Rory but Beast has a mind of it's own. It's not taking us where we wanted to." he looked over at him. "I need you to pull those two red levers please." he told him, pointing at two red levers. Akira pulled down the scanners to see where they were. It was a strange planet he's never heard of before. And he knew a lot of planets and places. Pushing some buttons and turning dials the TARDIS stopped as it landed.

It seemed simple enough. They were just saving themselves a walk, right? Only Akira's face suddenly didn't look too happy as he tried to direct the ship.
"Cmon Beast just up the road. That's all I ask."
"Something wrong?"
"No no no. I'm sorry Rory but Beast has a mind of it's own. It's not taking us where we wanted to."
"Did you try the emergency stop?" Rory made a quick circle around the console. The Doctor had taught him a great deal about flying the TARDIS; even if he couldn't fly it on his own yet, he understood the basics of steering. But this console was different. All the colors were wrong, and there were levers where there weren't supposed to be...
"I need you to pull those two red levers please."
Picking out the red ones, Rory grabbed them and pulled hard. The console room jerked suddenly, nearly throwing him across the room.
Dizzy from the abrupt change in gravity, Rory leaned over the console, still holding tight to the red levers. "Did we make it? Because I seriously need a drink now..."

"Beast doesn't like using the emergency breaks." he told him reading the scanners. There wasn't much about this planet. His TARDIS couldn't pick anything else up. He read a bit more before turning to Rory. Akira lowered his head a little. "I'm afraid we didn't. We ended up on some planet. I don't know anything about it other than it's an entire jungle." he flicked a few switches and walked over to the door. Opening the door Akira stepped out into the extended air source. He looked around at the green land scape and trees. Very large trees to be exact as far as he could see. Reaching down he felt the ground. Very soft. Straightening up he walks a little further and stepped out side the air bubble. He inhaled slightly. The air seemed different then what humans breathed. "Rory don't come out here. It's not safe to breathe." he stood back up and walked back into the TARDIS. Akira walked past the center column. He needed to find some sort of mask for Rory. Opening a door down a small hallway he walked in. He started going through the random things he had in there from his many adventures. "Rory come help me look for a mask, any sort of mask. Preferably a gas mask." he called out from the room.

"I'm afraid we didn't. We ended up on some planet. I don't know anything about it other than it's an entire jungle."
Rory let out a long groan and sort of deflated against the console.
"Can't we just... start her up again and be on our way?" asked Rory, knowing full well what the answer would be. You couldn't blame a bloke for trying. He watched as Akira went outside to test the atmosphere.
"Rory don't come out here. It's not safe to breathe." The fellow walked purposely back into some farther part of the TARDIS, looking for something.
"Come help me look for a mask, any sort of mask. Preferably a gas mask."
"You would think the lack of breathable air would be a hint for us to head home." Rory grumbled, following him to a container full of all sorts of junk. "And I would prefer something with oxygen flow. I know you TimeLords don't think too much about it, but us humans do need regular air to function properly."

"You would think the lack of breathable air would be a hint for us to head home."
"Now what would be in doing that." Akira giggled lightly and started tossing things a side that was of no use to him. This was a new planet to Akira and he just had to go explore and learn about the things that lived here. His TARDIS would like all the information it would get from staying. "Besides I want to check things out, then I promise we can go back and get some curry. If you're thirsty, there's a fridge just past the center column through the second door on your right." he explained and dug deeper into the box.
Moments later as his arm was buried up to his pit. His face lit up as he grabbed hold of the mask he was looking for. He cheered slightly and pulled it out of the box. "I knew I had one somewhere. And I know about humans and there breathing." he walked back to the center column and placed the mask onto it. Flipping some switched and turning some dials he pulled off the mask. "This should do it." he handed it to Rory. "Cmon lets go test it out. And don't worry. The mask is synced up with TARDIS air source. What you breath through there is what's in here so its safe." he smiled grabbing his bag and headed for the door.
[ooc: Sorry it took a while to post. I just moved back home and things have been crazy]

"I want to check things out, then I promise we can go back and get some curry. If you're thirsty, there's a fridge just past the center column through the second door on your right." Rory's stomach gurgled loudly. "I don't think a lemonade is going to tied me over. Maybe we'll find something out there? Don't worry, I've tried some pretty weird food before." He was pretty proud of his stamina when it came to bizarre foods across time and space. He'd only lost his appetite once while traveling with the Doctor, and in his defense the meal in question had been something like a brain with maggots in it. To be honest, Rory wasn't that worried about how long they spent here, so long as they picked up something to eat. Having some experience with this timetravel thing, he knew he'd probably get back home before Amy even knew he was gone. But while the time made no difference, his growling belly worked on its own clock. A man's got to eat sometime. Picking up a mask, Rory followed Akira outside, praying they landed just outside the foodcourt. (continued here)
