I always thought it was automatic to grow in to a soul less static Optimistic but never quite elegant. Still a weirdo after all these years. How could you not turn up to a party, well it wasn't that jumping a party it was something of a cross between a family gathering and a barbecue but she wasn't sure what exactly it was. There was a buffet, a open bar and everyone wondering around chatting and laughing. She gathered from the screen it had been the launch of some new kinda product or something and there was a casual but 'watch us all show off' element to it all. Valkyri didn't care she had shown up for the crack, mostly because she had walked past an hour ago, gone back to her TARDIS, got changed and then sauntered in as if she owned the damned place. It worked.
A glass of white wine in hand she looked out over the space outside the large floor to ceiling windows which lined the wall of the room. If she looked hard enough she could see herself reflected in it, grey dress, black converse and the dark eyeliner that brought out the hazel in her eyes but there were nicer things to look at. Much like the amazing planet and its moons system that was spiralled out across space in front of them. The large gas planet below them raged away. The blues, pinks, oranges, yellows and reds swirled and moved below them so fast you could see it. Like a bowl of water full of colour dye that just swirled around and around and yet some how they didn't seem to mix at all! It fascinated her completely.
Valkyri would have been down there like a flash if it had been some what breathable but alas it wasn't. She smirked to herself as she took a few steps closer to the window to get a better look at the view. The moons were just as fascinating. One very so often had random pink flashes on its surface which was the result of volcanic activity, another looked as if it had been thrown around too much, massive cracks across its surface but no craters. Strange worlds which captivated her. She held a certain love for strange worlds, they were like little jewels that hung in the sky, you couldn't do much but look at them with a certain sense of wonder. No wonder these people thought this was the perfect place to be happy, because frankly you couldn't not be happy with the views this place had.
A sip of the cold wine in her hand she reached out hand put her hand on the glass like window and watched a shuttle fly past under them on the way back to the nest population center no doubt. Right now everything felt like magic, nothing could ruin her mood, right now it didn't matter that she was unknown and alone. Why did people not try when they had this world on their door stop, how did they get apathetic, fall out of love with life? Sure she got down, she had skeletons that would kill some people and then she watched a view like this and felt her heart beat in her chest and everything seemed okay. Smiling to herself and leaned her forehead against the glass and enjoyed the happiness for a moment. “How can you not look at it?” She asked herself and wondered why everyone else wasn't in awe.

In cleaning out the pockets of his coat, Jack had found an invitation to some party. He'd completely forgotten about it, but the memory had come back to him upon finding the paper and he grinned. He could use a party right now. So much of his time was spent saving the planet. He hardly thought of just taking things easy.
He put in the date and location of the party and suddenly there he was, on some space station. He gave his coat a good brushing off, straightening his posture a bit and heading over to a window. It'd been a while since he'd been on one of these things and he was dying to see the view. It was beautiful and he'd been so wrapped up in it that he didn't realize there was someone next to him until he'd heard a voice.
"How can you not look at it?"
"Yeah, it's beautiful, isn't it?" he replied with a grin even though he had a feeling she wasn't even talking to him. In fact, she seemed to be talking to herself and had he not spent time around The Doctor, he would have found the habit odd. By now, though, he was used to it and just turned to face her, a little surprised.
Fiery red hair was the first thing he noticed. Then the perfect body, all the way down to her... converse? Well, that wasn't exactly orthodox, was it? Again, though, he was reminded of The Doctor, especially his desperation to be ginger, and he smiled, not only at the thought of his long-time friend but because she was absolutely stunning.
"Captain Jack Harkness," he introduced himself. "And might I just say that you look absolutely stunning in that dress."
{ooc; sorry it's not my best work! a bit short but i hope it's enough to work with! if not, just let me know <3}

I always thought it was automatic to grow in to a soul less static Optimistic but never quite elegant. Still a weirdo after all these years. For a moment she almost felt overwhelmed by the beauty of it all, like a little kid who was in a candy store with far too much money for their little brains to comprehend. This place was odd but she kinda liked it like that, music dancing on the air that she didn't recognise nor really care for. Valkyri was more of a...harsh chords and screaming from stages kinda person but each to their own. Still the view was stunning, it looked like someone has fed diamonds to the sea and let them float around until chaos theory and the entropy of the universe scattered them out in to random patterns. Valkyri had been so far away in her own world she hadn't noticed the person beside her, how could she not have he towered over the little five foot high Gallifreyan. It was a wonder how she hadn't noticed.
She almost jumped a little, instead she glanced up and shrugged her shoulders a little, a smile playing on her face as she watched another shuttle departing from the station and zooming off in to the star speckled darkness of space. “Bit of an understatement there...” Valkryi commented with a smile before her eyes went back to the moon which was starting to spew its innards through a volcano again. At least starting a conversation up was always the first thing that she found the hardest....Val was awful when it came to small talk and she found it beyond hard. She hated that feeling where she had to end up talking about nothing and she just got lost, looked like an idiot and frankly she wanted the world to swallow her.
There was a hint of red on her cheeks as he commented on her dress she glanced down at it, it was nothing special...in fact it had been the first thing she had pulled out the pile of clothes that was laughably her wardrobe. Everything got thrown in the room and ignored and the sad pat was it was overflowing...well what could you say Valkyri liked to shop! She bought clothes, never wore them and yet she had to have them. Sad part was most of the time she wore the same three things on rotation. “Um thank you?” She said sounding very unsure if that was the right reply...crap they had never covered this before how the hell did you act in this kinda situation. Ugh stupid humans being so complecated!
Going back to drinking her drink she turned around, leaned against the glass and turned her attention to the party. “Who you reckon is going to be the first person kicked out for being too drink. I'm hedging my bets on that one.” A nod towards a dude who was trying to chat up a woman at the bar and failing.
[[its fine I luffed it <3]]

"For being too drunk? Oh, no doubt it will be him," Jack agreed with a nod. "But just in general, it will probably be me," he told her with a wink, mostly teasing, though he did have the tendency to cause scenes at times. Especially since he carried guns everywhere, though they were nicely concealed and he knew better than anyone how to use them.
"Speaking of drinks, I think I might just have to get one myself, excuse me a moment," he said with a polite smile, slipping away to grab a glass of wine. He felt a little rude for not asking if she'd like another, but since hers was mostly full, he just would have looked plain dumb, so he just made his way back to her as timely as he could, lifting his glass in a silent toast before taking a drink.
"You know, I never did get your name," he reminded the woman, the words barely leaving his mouth before there were a series of gunshots and loud screams. He stood straight, setting his glass on the closest surface. Without regarding the woman next to him, he was headed in the direction of the gunshots, pulling his own weapons out and aiming them toward the gunmen when he found them, four of them.
"We mean no harm!" one of them yelled, causing Jack's upper lip to lift in a sort of snarl.
"If you mean no harm, than why the hell do you have guns?" he yelled right back.
"We don't want to be stopped. We don't plan to shoot unless we have to," another told him, eyes dropping to his guns before going back to his face. "You have no right to have these... these machines here. This is untouched space, or was until you decided to ruin it, just like everything else in this universe. You just can't leave things alone, can you?" the woman asked, her question rhetorical, with venom behind the words. We're bringing this space station down. You can either cooperate and be teleported to safety or you can stay here and go down with it."
"It will crash into Earth!!" Jack cried, face going red from frustration.
"Yes, well it will just be returning home, won't it? They shouldn't put their junk in someone else's back yard."
{ooc; the one in the pic looks fancy so we'll say shes a leader of the species and that these are more plain looking ones, yeah?}

I always thought it was automatic to grow in to a soul less static Optimistic but never quite elegant. Still a weirdo after all these years. The banter was good, she couldn't help but smile as she stood there and sipped her drink, shrugging her shoulders slightly she glanced up at him side ways before she responded. “Oh that I would love to see, its not a fun party unless there is some drama.” Well at least that was her view, she didn't really know what she would do without drama in her life, it would be boring and well you know, empty. Her life revolved around other peoples dramas while she tried to make lonesomeness stop sinking in to deep seated psychosis but she wasn't sure if that plan was working. Drama that evolved in to nights turning in to days during dances powered by chemicals that she didn't really understand but it was fun and that was all that mattered.
She watched him wonder over and get a drink as she sipped at her own and marvelled at the fact humans never changed that much. Sure they might make it out to space, the surroundings might change, they might advance technologically but they were all the damn same...struggling to chat up someone at the bar. Valkyri was glad when he came back, she didn't feel like such a...nob standing there on her own. Of course the conversation was about to strike back up when something happened something odd. It took her a moment to recognise the sound as gunshots but they most certainly were. It took her a few moments to kick in to action but she downed the rest of her drink thinking that she would need the soothing effect of alcohol and then set about trying to work out what the hell was going on.
Walking closer to the group she listened in to Jack's conversation with the scary lady before becoming out raged at the very idea of crashing this thing in to earth. “You can't do that!” Valkyri snapped loudly sounding very indignant and offended at the idea. “Billions of people live there, you might not be shooting but you will condemn death on many let that be on your hands – you too chicken to pull the trigger yourself?” It might not have helped but the whole shutting up and not opening your mouth thing hadn't been learned by the young gallifreyan yet. “You have no right to kill millions of people but you still want to do it – pot calling the kettle green much?” The sarcasm and venom was clearly obvious and it didn't make one of them happy.
The gun pointing in her face and the hand meant nothing to her, she didn't even blink just casually side her handbag off her shoulder and whacked them across the face full force with little regret. “Did I say you could touch me – no.” It might not have been the best course of action because the next thing she knew she was face to face with a very pissed off alien who had a split lip which was impressive force for a woman of her stature. Now she blinked, looking a little worried – ok she hadn't thought that move through at all. She smiled, sweetly, that butter wouldn't melt in her mouth look before she broke in to a grin and glanced at the ceiling then at Jack, she was trying to draw his attention to the fact that the smoke generator was right above their heads. Flood the place then get the hell out. That was what was going through her head. If they can get to the control room before these guys did they might just stop a catastrophe some how. Though she hadn't thought how yet.
“So you think because someone else's junk is in your back yard you think that gives you permission to kill millions of people, you're some pretty bad neighbours. Fuck if you were my neighbours I'd build another to just piss you right off!” Well she hoped the create a distraction plan and the whole 'get this guys attention' thing tied together if not she might be in some hot water. Of course none of them seemed to like her gob. She heard the guns click and she just shrugged her shoulders. “Whatcha going to do big head pop a cap in my ass, come on that is so twenty first century it hurts.” She was going to come out of here with a bullet in her and everyone in this room thought it at the same time.
Glancing up again there was almost an impatient expression on her face. “If your going to shoot do it I'm bored.”

Oh, this girl was a feisty one wasn't she? And god was she ballsy and even though it was highly inappropriate for the situation, he couldn't help but smile. He was really starting to like this chick. A bit rude, maybe, but it was rather humorous.
When she looked at him before carrying right on, he followed where her gaze had just been and saw the fire sprinklers. Oh, she was good. Without hesitating, he lifted his gun, aiming it at the sensor and causing an alarm to go off, as well as all the sprinklers. He was tempted to shoot her for egging on the ones with guns, but instead, he just used the distraction to grab her by the wrist, dragging her out of the main room and heading for where he figured the control room would be. He was willing to bet that those four were not the only ones. They were just the decoy, the way to get the ones they had to face to safety. There was more than likely at least one of them in the control room, working on bringing the space station down and if Jack Harkness got his way, that wasn't going to happen.
We need to get to the control room. Someone's going to have to be there to make the space station go down," he told Valkyri in case she hadn't realized where it was they were headed.
There was an elevator, but he skipped past it altogether, making his way up the stairs, taking them two at a time and letting go of Valkyri's wrist so he wouldn't cause her to stumble or vice versa. He could only trust that she would follow him. He slowed as he neared the floor with the control room, not wanting his footsteps to be heard and motioning for Val to keep quiet as well. When he'd found the correct room, he paused outside, getting each hand equipped with a gun. He could hear hushed noises behind the door and nodded once to Valkyri, telling her to get ready before pushing the door open, immediately aiming his guns at the two aliens that looked just like the ones downstairs.
Just as he'd suspected.
"I suggest you stop whatever you're doing," he told them, only to have one of them stand and aim a gun right back at him. "I dare you.
This one clearly didn't hesitate as much because before Jack knew it, he had a bullet through his chest and was stumbling back, his back hitting the wall as his body slumped down, head lolling down so his chin rested on his chest. He was dead.

I always thought it was automatic to grow in to a soul less static Optimistic but never quite elegant. Still a weirdo after all these years. Oh she couldn't ignore that smile. It was that moment in time she knew he had seen what she had been hinting at but of course she didn't know what to stop. She kept going, she kept egging on the gun toting aliens who were more than willing to shoot her, that was Vals huge problem though she never really realised that she went too far and shutting up wasn't a skill in her vocabulary. There was a quiet yelp as the water from the fire sprinklers cascaded down from the ceiling. It was cold, ice cold and without a doubt enough to catch everyones attention. She could feel it soaking through the thin dress she was wearing and she sure as hell wasn't expecting to be grabbed. It took her a few moments to come around to what Jack was doing before she broke in to a run herself and they broke out of the room full of cascading water and in to the corridor.
Valkyri shook her head, shaking the water off her hair and causing it to look as if she had just rolled out of bed, the sad truth being she kinda suited the whole bed head look more than the straight look. Nodding her head she quickly agreed with him, at least they were thinking on the same wavelength. “If we can find some way to lock the system down, this place must have some form of safety system that shuts down the thrusters, that way we can lock it in to its orbit and stop them crashing the damned thing in to Earth.” It was always Earth wasn't it, always bloody Sol 3. What was it with the little blue and green marble that insisted on being constantly threatened by aliens. They were like a little magnet for trouble. She almost wanted to sigh at the thought of it. “Its always bloody Earth.” She mumbled under her breath as she took a fast glance at the map on the wall as they walked past and located the control room. At least they were going the right way.
He finally let go as they started to climb the stairs, the strange fact was she hadn't twigged on to the fact that he was different, that he didn't fit here but she was too busy trying to work out what the hell was going on here. Apart from the obvious mental terrorist attacking the station. Taking the stairs two at a time she stumbled on one of them, her hand out swiping the ground to keep herself going before any real damage was done. She slowed down with him, as they neared the door smirked a little bit and tried to stick her hand down her bra as subtly as she could to retrieve the slimline eyeshadow pen she had hidden in her bra. Holding it in her hand tightly as she eyed Jack and returned the nod. She was ready and damned they were getting this over and gone with fast because she wanted to go and get drunk!
The door was no more, and immediately there were two guns pointed in their direction, they must have looked hilarious a half soaked five foot high red head and him. If any of them should be egging on people with guns it should be her after all who would shoot at her? The gun shot took her by surprise and so did the result. It almost didn't register with her and for a moment she just stood there and then she turned, slowly and folded her arms. “Now I'm pissed off. You shot my new friend, you ruined my dress, you interrupted my drink and now you try to kill a planet?” As she talked she reached over to the wall and with deliberate intent and pulled off the engineering panel. “Now I wonder what my really sophisticated weapon would do to all this circuitry that you need to complete your plan – wanna find out?” Valkyri asked the two beings that now looked half nervous and half pissed off with her.
“You wanna find out, I mean it, because you've really upset me. So put the guns on the floor, step away from the console and we can talk about this like sensible adults.” Really what she meant was she wanted to blow both their heads off.

Always one to have perfect timing, Jack gasped and shot forward, bringing a hand to his chest, the blood lingering on his shirt the only sign he'd been shot at all and the two of them dropped their guns immediately, looking much less confident than they had only moments before.
"I shot you!" one of them pointed out. "How are you still alive?!"
"Guess your aim isn't as spot on as you'd like to think," Jack said with a light shrug, purposely pushing at his buttons, the alien snarling and immediately grabbing his gun again.
"We'll see about that," he shot back before pulling the trigger again, sending Jack flying back once more. With him out of the way, at least for a moment, the gun moved to point at Valkyri. "Maybe a bit more practice won't hurt either. I won't hesitate to shoot you as well."
What he didn't know was that Jack had already healed yet again, with much less of a show than before, and was already aiming at him. "You're hesitating now," he said before shooting him in the shoulder, the gun clattering to the floor and he went over, snatching it up. "Now I suggest the pair of you go down and tell your friends that your plan got interrupted. I don't want to have to kill you, I really don't. But if it's between you and my planet, you can bet your ass that I will."
"And what makes you think we'll give up so easily?" the one that had been shot snarled, despite his current predicament. "There are others. If we have to sacrifice our lives for the greater purpose, so be it."
"Except the moment you keep fighting and I have to shoot you, my friend, Valkyri here, is going to destroy the circuit board so that the safety system kicks in and locks this space station into orbit. Wouldn't that be a damper on your plans?" he asked, subtly motioning to Valkyri, hoping she'd catch the motion and take it as a hint to destroy the circuit board while she had the chance.

I always thought it was automatic to grow in to a soul less static Optimistic but never quite elegant. Still a weirdo after all these years. What. The. Fuck. He was alive. Valkyri looked at him, her jaw dropping slightly. She knew most things weren't impossible just highly unlikely, in fact anything was possible in this universe she just hadn't been expecting this. That was just wrong, he was dead, and then he wasn't. Forgetting about the big bad guys with the guns she just looked at him for a moment the clogs working in her head going through all the reasons he could have come back to life. She couldn't find one that fitted him or meshed with the strange feeling she got from him. Like walking in to a room that didn't feel right there was an aura that said something but she couldn't place it and she sure as hell hadn't felt anything like it before. Of course the alien wasn't going to take this lying down, he pulled the trigger again and then turned the barrel towards her, Valkyri was decidedly unimpressed and she just glared at him back.
How the hell did going to a party turn in to this, in to the earth about to die and some asshole with a gun at her head. All she had wanted was to wear a pretty dress and have a couple of drinks, maybe meet a nice guy, have a bit of a banter and then maybe go back to theirs. Was that such a hard thing to get in to one evening? Really what was wrong with the world that you can't even have a nice night out any more? Her eyes were yet again dragged back to Jack who was alive...yet again. She swallowed watching between the two species before she rolled her eyes and shook her head lightly. “You know a wise man once told me not to argue with the big dude with the gun.” She advised Tweedle Dumb and Tweedle Dumber before turned and started separating the wires.
There was a smile on her lips, it was nice to see someone who cared about something other than themselves, so many times she went places and people were docile, they had no idea what the hell was going on under there feet and they didn't care. They just turned a blind eye and let the machine roll on. Not this guy. It was kinda refreshing, even if it was just standing up to idiots that were hell bent on destruction and sadly misguided. “See the thing you don't realise is, he's got a gun and is trigger happy and I know my way around space stations and he really fucking cares. I suggest you take the window of mercy he is showing you before you end up dead for nothing. No one remembers you unless you dye a Martyr and that isn't going to happen today pal.” The sad part was maybe her statement held a little bit too much truth for her own liking.
Going back to the wires she separated them out, her hands grabbing a hold of an array of coloured wires which represented the main control systems of the space station. She pulled as hard as she could, a loud electrical crack went through the air followed by a bunch of sparks and the small puff of smoke that they resulted in. “Opse...hadn't expected that.” Valkyri said sheepishly as she stood on a still lit spark on the floor. Of course they looked nervious one of them had been show and now the station was completely immobile after she had literally torn the wiring out of the wall. They were looking at each other, as if considering to bail on them and then something not so surprising happened...that was exactly what they did. While shouting a large number of obscenities at them.
Valkyri took that as her chance to get in to the control room and she did it with lighting speed, running around the control panel as she began to familiarise herself with the controls. “Say we send out a distress call for the local law enforcement then get the hell out of here. Always too many questions if you hang around...”

"Good by me," Jack agreed, groaning a little as he pulled himself up from the floor. It was exhausting dying so many times in a row and he wasn't sure he'd ever get used to it. He followed after Valkyri, doing the same as her, finding his way around the control room. It had been a while since he'd had to, but he found he hadn't lost his touch and he made sure all the back up generators were working while Valkyri sent out the distress call.
"Alright the power's fine. With the distraction of the party, I'll be surprised if anyone even notices right away that the ship has stopped, they would have only noticed the power surge from before the generators kicked on," he spoke, not sure if Val even needed a play by play, but he did it anyway, used to having a team that sometimes caught on less quickly than he did.
When he was finished, he went over to where Valkyri was still tinkering with some controls and put a hand on her shoulder, smiling as he watched her at work. "You're pretty good, you know," he told her with a smile "Wise beyond your years, in fact." Her eyes didn't look older than she did, but that didn't mean anything, he'd found. For all he knew, she could be young for her species, but if that was the case, than she wasn't human.
"Anyway, if you're finished, we should get out of here. Not sure how you expected to do this, but I've got a vortex manipulator. Name a time and place and we'll be there instead of here," he told her with a charming smile, thinking he was showing off, not realizing she would be able to one-up him.
{ooc; T-T sorry for the shortness, my next one will be better, i promise!!}

I always thought it was automatic to grow in to a soul less static Optimistic but never quite elegant. Still a weirdo after all these years. As far as she was concerned she was leaving here with or without him. Valkyri didn't want to be involved in this and she sure as hell didn't want to get in to any more trouble anywhere, after all she was already wanted in several places and most of it in all honesty was her own fault. Listing to his little spill, she really didn't need a blow by blow account of it but she entertained it, nodding her head she 'mhmm'ed as a response as her fingers flowed over the controls, she was busy composing a message to the local law enforcement that read something along the lines of; 'hi this space station just hot taken hostage by a bunch of crazy green people who appear to be eco warriors. They are trying to escape. Might wanna catch them and don't worry we stopped them from causing any harm. Love V x' It wasn't exactly orthodox but Valkyri never really did anything the orthodox way, in fact she hated it, bring on the new age!
Sending it she smirked to herself and proudly proclaimed; “Done.” Glancing over her shoulder at the Jack as he laid a hand on her shoulder she shrugged her shoulders before she mused on what he had said. She was stupid by her peoples standards, in fact she was the kid that failed everything, that they tried to kick out of class and school – she really wasn't that smart. Well at least in her eyes. “Meh I just travel a lot.” Val explained nonchalantly. “I mean could you imagine spending your entire life in one place, never seeing anything else but your street or city – fuck that.” There was a grin now as she ran around the console as fast as she could, reaching the other side and double checking that the environmental controls were safe and everything was okay after all she didn't want to disappear and end up killing everyone.
It was when she realised that the clock on the wall had stopped that everything hit her like a brick wall – oh that was why he felt different. “Fixed point – ah that's it. That's why you know, your like Mr Unkillable and shit.” It had taken her a while to get there but she got there in the end, she smacked herself on the side of the head before shaking her head and cursing herself for her stupidity. “I'm sorry should have got it sooner – was distracted.” Who could blame her they were trying to save the earth.
Valkyri had to try as hard as she could to surprise a laugh at the idea of travelling through time with that thing. “I didn't even know they still made those...” She commented, it came off as rather harsh but she hadn't meant it too... “Anyway why travel like that when I can do it in style.” Of course TARDIS beat wrist watch any way, Valkyri was pretty set on that, she had never travelled by vortex manipulator before but she couldn't imagine it being really all that pleasant. “Alright – I know this great place its like this little underground party joint in 67,456 fantastic music, booze and frankly I feel like a party.” She was always in the party mood to be honest.
“You can come if you want.” Valkyri spoke of time travel as if it was natural, and to her it was, as natural as getting in a car and going to the local store for milk. She turned, half skipped off out the room. “Come on slowcoach!”

Recalling why he'd come in the first place, Jack nodded. A party was what he'd been looking for after all. And he'd been looking to find someone to spend his time with. This girl, looney as she was, would do just fine. He paused though, surprised at himself for not catching it right off.
"Wait a second," he said with a slight frown, trying to work things out in his head. "First of all, vortex manipulators aren't made anymore but I got my hands on another. I used to be in the Time Agency but someone destroyed mine." She was even making fun of it, sure in a subtle way, but she still was and it vaguely reminded him of The Doctor. "Second, how do you mean travel in style? he asked curiously. Yep, definitely not human. But what was she if not human? Who else had the technology to travel through space and time besides Timelords unless it was by vortex manipulator?
Was she Timelord?
No. That was crazy to think. But she had proven herself to him enough that he didn't doubt her and he followed after, keeping his eyes out for anything out of the ordinary. Other than the engines having shut off, though, everything seemed to be in order. But where were they going? If she had a spaceship, where would she have even parked it? Of course, this was a party and there were likely lots of ships scattered about.
"You're not Timelord, are you?" he asked, more curious than anything. "Well, Time lady I suppose would be the correct term. But I've met and heard of lots of aliens, but I can't place you. You're not quite human, not quite Timelord, and to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure what else you could be," he said, mostly rambling now as he continued trying to sort it for himself.
{ooc; I'm sooo sorry this took so long and that it's still so short compared to yours. I was having a bit of trouble trying to flesh it out. I hope you don't hate me.}

[/i] She frowned, crossed her arms and looked at him as if he had just asked how to write his name, stupid man. “Um I have a ship dumb ass. No I totally rocked up here in a freaking wooden boat. Stop asking stupid questions.” That was rude and she knew it but she didn’t care right now. She really didn’t give a flying crap. She turned and kept going, walking through corridors and making her way down to a quieter section of the ship. There it was disguised in the corner as a storage bay. It always brought a smile to her face that thing, it was her fathers, it wasn’t her TARDIS it was his…she was just keeping it warm. The sad part was it didn’t even feel like home, it felt like staying in someone else’s house when they told you to treat it like home but you didn’t quite want to. Valkyri didn’t want to change anything, didn’t want to make it her own like as if he was going to come back. The sad truth was not all of her race might be gone but her family at least were. Sticking her hand down her dressed she pulled the key out on its long chain and held it in her hands as she looked at him. He had to say that damned name didn’t he? You're not Timelord, are you? She wasn’t and it would have been an insult to claim she was but some people just didn’t understand the difference. You're not quite human, not quite Timelord, and to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure what else you could be There was a sigh from her as she opened the TARDIS and stepped in. It shone in all its glory, something so technological about it and yet so old at the time, the stempunkesq desk top theme had been her fathers choice, not hers but she would never change it. The picture of them all still stuck on to the corner of a display, notes in circular writing that her father had left and a broken pocket watch hanging from a chain on the side. “I’m Gallifreyan. Time Lord is a title…not a race.” She explained sounding a little bored by the topic. “By the time the planet you know well, it happened I wasn’t granted one yet. So lucky me one heart, one life.” It was a major down side but still she grinned. “Might as well make the most of it right!” No Valkyri wasn’t hedonistic at all! “Hold on….its gonna be bumpy.” With that she threw a leaver and grabbed on to the railing, mostly because she couldn’t drive. [[its fine bbdoll love your posts as allways <3 I just ramble a lot! [/ul][/size]
